• DESCO achieves 2,500,000 Man-Hours "Zero Lost-Time-Incident" from October 2005 to Octber 2009.

• API has approved DESCO's application for the certification to use the official API monogram on manufactured products under the conditions of API Spec Q1 for API Spec 6A - Flange Connectors and Bullplugs.

• Forum Energy Philippines Corporation targets to start production at the Libertad natural gas field before the end of the year. The company has engaged in talks for a supply agreement with DESCO, which plans to use natural gas from Libertad for power generation. DESCO will bring in power generating units (GE Jenbacher gas engines) that will be fueled by gas coming out of the Libertad field.

• DESCO Power Plant Construction Group successfully balances 1 unit 7.5 MW and 2 units 5 MW Steam Turbine Rotors of Petron Corporation.

• Hon. Marlyn F. Alonte-Naguiat, Municipal Mayor of Binan, leads the inauguration of the Ground-Breaking Ceremony of the new DESCO facility located in a 10,000 sq. meter lot area inside LIIP, Binan, Laguna. Target date of completion is November 2009.

• Forum Energy PLC, through majority-owned unit Forum Exploration Inc., signs a gas sale and purchase agreement (GSPA) with DESCO to develop the Libertad gas field for power generation. Under the agreement, DESCO will install within the year 2 units of 1 megawatt power-generating unit in Bogo, Cebu using GE Jenbacher gas engines. The agreement with DESCO is still subject to the approval of the Department of Energy.

• DESCO Power Plant Construction Group successfully overhauls the Steam Turbine Valves and Servomotors of Team Energy – Pagbilao Power Plant Unit 2.

• Since January 2008, orders from Energy Development Corporation (formerly PNOC-EDC) have reached more than PHP70 million for the supply of WKM geothermal valves, valve accessories and valve repairs.
• Orders from Shell Exploration / Malampaya Platform and AMEC reach almost PHP20 million to date. These include pipe/steel fabrications and supply of ASME Coded Welders & Fitters.

• DESCO Engineering and Power Plant Construction Group together with Marubeni Philippines Corporation successfully complete the “Overhauling of Steam Turbine and Balance of Plant Activities” at Mindanao 1 Geothermal Power Plant.
• Energy Development Corporation awards DESCO a contract for the Engagement of Coiled Tubing Unit Services for Acidizing and Gas Lifting Operations at Northern Negros Geothermal Production Field (NNGPF).

• Chevron Philippines, Inc. (formerly Caltex) awards DESCO a contract for the supply of 6 units Cameron’s General Twin Seal Plug Valves. Cameron is the world’s leading manufacturer of high-integrity, positive shut-off Double Block & Bleed valves which serve the following markets: pipeline, liquid bulk terminals, aviation fueling, refining, oil/gas production and custody transfer for the petroleum and oil/gas industries.
• DESCO Engineering and Power Plant Construction Groups successfully install the Turbine Blade Erosion Shield and complete the On-Site Grinding of the Turbine Rotor Thrust Face using the Portable Lathe Machine at Malitbog Bottoming Cycle Geothermal Power Plant.
